MORTUS VOX

Image

WITH UTMOST GRAVITY DO I PUT PEN TO PAPER WITH A DEAD HAND

WITH SOMBER PURPOSE I RECORD THE VOICES OF THE DEAD

IN ALL SERIOUSNESS I CONTEMPLATE THE DEAD SILENCE.

IN CANDLELIGHT AT MIDNIGHT DARK KNOWLEDGE DO I SPY WITH MY DEAD EYE.

I CUT TO THE HEART OF THE MATTER WITH SURGICAL PRECISION.

I RESURRECT SUBJECTS LONG FORGOTTEN.

WITH ONE FELL STROKE I LAY TO REST MANY MISCONCEPTIONS.

  1. Your Dead Eye is left, time to refrain
Now peer through the right, virgin sight to obtain.
It has served you well—your familiar left hand,
But drop your pen…….now raise it again.

Your right hand is awkward, unstable but ready
    Its remaining journey…
    Surefooted and sturdy.
At age 12 you prayed for Solomon’s Wise
It has come to you but arrived in disguise.
Be careful what you ask for, you took the good with the bad
Oh Joxua, dear Mourningstar of Midnight,
You must also dance naked, but in the sunlight.
Time to shift your focus, venture a chance
Now become the Moon of tomorrow’s day Noon.

Knowledge had he, and understanding too,
    King Solomon the Great
Yet prayed for Discernment, as merely Wisdom he knew.
It served its purpose…an building block for us.
Discernment was granted—-he knew good, then knew evil.
He climbed the Tree ––then was given two keys
    And yet they are one.
You’ve turned it Left –now turn it Right.

In Solomon’s temple – now the left side of your head
he once communed with Life, then Voices of the Dead.
Passing on, he slumbered, long slept—he rises again.
With hope of changing the human stain.
    Now lifted up in resurrection
Discernment he had yet one thing remained
…Realizes he’d forgotten to pray for Direction.

Joshua rides in – eyes a Promised Land
At your right temple he waits—
    Solomon knocks
    Takes a bow
    Joshua, Joxua, and Solomon hand-in-hand

    Jericho’s walls must come down
    Modern tho they be
    World system, corruption, feeble minds
    Denial, duality, delusion of thought
It is only through One eye we can truly see
